The White Deer Tropics got a strong performance from pitcher Jesus de Jesus, who stymied the Columbus offense en route to a win, 8-2, at Ballpark of Columbus. With the win, White Deer improves its record to 3-0.

Matt Going had a big hit for White Deer in the top of the second inning. With White Deer leading 2-0, Going hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Tropics up, 4-0.

"When Jesus is on, he can really move the ball around," said White Deer manager Brendan Rees.
