Dillonvale catcher Trey Lacey was sensational. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ann Arbor beat the Indians, 8-7. The 5th-place Z's own a record of 7-27.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, 23-year old right fielder Travis Letner had a chance to be the hero. Dillonvale pitcher Jim Unknown wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Letner hit a sacrifice fly. The Z's had themselves a thrilling win.
