Raska Leads Tailgators to 14-9 Win Over Canadiens
Chesapeake first baseman Brad Raska contributed significantly to his team's 14-9 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Raska went 4 for 6 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tailgators. The winning pitcher was Alex Martinez. His record now stands at 11-8. The left-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits for the Tailgators. Chesapeake raised its record to 81-63 with the win.

In the first inning, Raska had a 2-run home run for Chesapeake. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Tailgators on top, 3-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Raska told the Chesapeake News.
