English Excels, But Canadiens Win
Despite a great performance by Portland right fielder Sam English, the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Mad Ants by the score of 9-5 at Mad Ants Ballpark. English slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ryan Louviere notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 4 innings. His record now sits at 5-9. Montreal, with the win, sits at 48-93.

Steve Kettle had a big run-scoring double for the Canadiens in the top of the third inning.
