Muskies Earn Late 2-1 Win
|
The Glendale Muskies banked on Dylan Diggs and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Little Rock hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Muskies. The winner was Nick Chinn in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Rick Hill took the loss. At 71-67, the Muskies are currently third in the Stars Conference West Division.
Glendale used the timely hitting of Jerry Milton to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Muskies on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Milton said.
