Fans who congregated at Turtles Ballpark were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Montreal Canadiens downed the Montreal Royals, 5-3, in 12 innings. Justin Kelley led the way, going 2-for-4 for Montreal. Jeremy Davila was the winner in relief. His record is now 8-5. The losing pitcher was Bobby Hardy.

Montreal needed the clutch hitting of Alan Borrego to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Canadiens on top, 4-3. For the game, Borrego had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

In postgame comments, Borrego said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

The last-place Canadiens now have a win-loss record of 43-92.
