The Glendale Muskies beat the Montreal Canadiens, 8-2, at Field of the Muskies. Glendale second baseman David Pantoja had an outstanding performance. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. Dustin Abbott was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. Dave Vondrasek wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
Jesse Reimann hit a 2-run double off Chris Wyzard in the bottom of the first, which put the Muskies in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Reimann had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Muskies manager Jon Greenberg.
The victory puts Glendale at 50-75.
