Ghosts Top Lasers to Even Record
|
Despite a great performance by Nashville left fielder Greg Marston, the Laredo Ghosts defeated the Lasers by the score of 6-2 at Ghosts Ballpark. Marston was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Brown, the winner, is now 8-9. He struck out 5 and walked 3 over 5.1 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. Laredo goes to 62-62, Nashville to 66-58.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Ghosts Ballpark seemed to enjoy watching the Stars Conference action.
