The Portland Mad Ants converted a terrific effort from starter Matt Parsons into a win over the Montreal Royals at Mad Ants Ballpark. The Mad Ants won the game by a final score of 4-2. The win for the Mad Ants lifted their record to 65-59.

The decisive blow was delivered by Eric Alvarado in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run home run off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Chase Harriger to win the game for Portland. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was raucous," said Alvarado.
