The Glendale Muskies defeated the Montreal Royals, 4-3, in Stars Conference action at Turtles Ballpark. Glendale pitcher Joe Bringman had a standout performance. Bringman yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-8. Jared Hall earned his 4th save in 5 chances.

Chris Alexander provided a timely hit. The Glendale second baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Muskies on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Joe giving us the start that he did was huge," said Glendale manager Jon Greenberg.

Glendale is now 63-60. Montreal is 66-57.
