Canadiens Snatch Late Win
The Montreal Canadiens, despite a fine performance by El Paso pitcher Victor Figueroa, grabbed a 2-0 win at Chupacabras Stadium. Figueroa allowed no runs over 7 innings. Jeremy Davila picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 6-5. David Holloman, who is tied for 4th in the SC in holds with 9, was tagged with the loss. With the win over El Paso, the Canadiens improved to 37-82.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Justin Kelley? The former first round draft pick Kelley stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Montreal up, 1-0. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Nice to get this one," said Kelley. "Wins have been hard to come by."
