Pelter Hits Two Homers in 11-3 Win for Portland
Getting offensive support from Mike Pelter, the Portland Mad Ants topped the Quebec Aces, 11-3. Pelter hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Mad Ants. Mickey Ferrell earned the win. Curtis Gring, who is tied for 6th in the SC with a 9.2 K/9 rate, took the loss for Quebec. Portland now has a record of 53-40 with the win.

Early in the game, Pelter had a 2-run home run for Portland. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Mad Ants on top, 2-0.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Mad Ants manager Efren Nieman, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
