Kendra K's 10 En Route to 3-1 Royals Win
Turtles Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Montreal Canadiens and Montreal Royals.

Starting pitcher Mike Kendra gave the Montreal Royals a rock-solid effort. The Prophetstown, Illinois native helped his team defeat the Montreal Canadiens, 3-1, at Turtles Ballpark. Picking up his 4th save was 29-year old left-handed pitcher Vince Rice.

Kendra, now 4-1, scattered 5 hits over 8 innings for the Royals.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Montreal manager Bobby White.

The second-place Royals have a record of 46-23.
