The Little Rock Governors defeated the Chesapeake Tailgators by the score of 11-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Kyle Bailey. Bailey slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Governors on the day. Chris Bruhl came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. The third-place Governors have won 5 in a row.

Early in the game, first baseman Josh Berg had a 2-run double for Little Rock. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Governors on top, 2-1.
