Muskies Suffer 6-4 Loss to Montreal
|
Despite a great performance by Glendale right fielder Jesse Reimann, the Montreal Royals defeated the Muskies by the score of 6-4 at Turtles Ballpark. Reimann went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Frank Yanez earned the save for Montreal. With the win over Glendale, the Royals improved to 27-29.
The Royals got a big at-bat from left fielder Randy Bunn. For the game, Bunn was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave Montreal a 4-2 lead.
"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Bunn told the Montreal Today.
