Chupacabras Defeat Canadiens in 10
The El Paso Chupacabras faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Chris Wyzard, but found a way to pull out the victory at Chupacabras Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Wyzard went 5.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. With the win, El Paso raised its record to 28-24.

The Chupacabras got a clutch hit from catcher Orlando Contreras. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Chupacabras.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant William Maysonet, the El Paso skipper.
