The Portland Mad Ants topped the Little Rock Governors, 5-0, in Stars Conference action at Ballpark of Newport News. The game was highlighted by the performance of Portland pitcher Josh Huggins. The Mad Ants go to 24-26, putting them 5th in the Stars Conference West Division.
Portland starter Josh Huggins was a master of his craft. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Huggins told the Portland Chronicle.
