Lasers Win Thriller, 9-6
The Nashville Lasers withstood an impressive performance by Baxter Springs left fielder Art MacDonald to defeat the Marshals, 9-6, at Lasers Ballpark. MacDonald went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Nashville reliever Eugene Ricci, now 3-1. The loser was Timothee Laziosi. Nashville's record now stands at 24-21, placing them third in the Stars Conference East Division.

Nashville got a clutch hit from Ricky Colon. The pinch hitter socked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was game-ender.

"This place was electric at the end," Colon said.
