Lasers Get Hard-Earned Win
The Nashville Lasers handed the Lubbock Stampede a loss at Reagor Dykes Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Carlos Barreto was one of the major contributors for Nashville. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 2. Nashville pitcher Eddie Arriaga earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Jaheem Brown suffered the loss. The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Barreto delivered big-time for Nashville, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jaheem Brown. The game-changing hit put the Lasers on top, 3-2.
