The Governors grabbed a win, 5-3, at Mad Ants Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Portland pitcher Josh Huggins. Huggins went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Kevin Farris, the winner, is now 3-1. He struck out 5 and walked 4 over 6 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. The setback makes the Mad Ants 6-10.

Francisco Fierro, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2019 draft, helped out the Little Rock cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
