Bellflowers Win Division Series Tuesday, September 13th , 2022 After eliminating the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates 3-0 in the Division Series at Wegman's Field, the victorious Buffalo Bellflowers will now move on to the next round: the League Championship Series. Buffalo beat Saint Pierre and Miquelon 4-1 in the series. The MVP trophy was awarded to Bellflowers shortstop Chris Cooper, who knocked in 6 runs, hit .429 and scored 5 times. "The guys were all chanting 'M-V-P' when I went into the clubhouse," Cooper said later, with a smile. "It was kind of embarrassing but it feels great to be here." The Buffalo Bellflowers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Moriarty Suns - Terra Linda Chargers series. Moriarty leads the series 3 games to 1.
