Big Day for Yenores: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, April 8th , 2025 Buffalo Bellflowers center fielder Jose Yenores had a day to remember at Franklin Park, ripping apart the Franklin Cubs and sparking the 10-8 Bellflowers win. Yenores wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Yenores told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
