The Long Island Torpedoes inaugurated the 2026 campaign with a disappointing 10-9 loss to the Terra Linda Chargers at Centerville Grounds. Terra Linda designated hitter Luis Carlos had a big impact on the outcome. He was 2 for 6 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4.
