Virginia's Gonzalez Snags Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, June 12th , 2022 The Pitcher of the Year Award for 2022 has been announced and the Conference 1 winner is B.J. Gonzalez of the Virginia Cavaliers. With a record of 4-1, Gonzalez was certainly a worthy winner. He made 11 starts and rang up 58.2 innings, 52 strikeouts and a 1.38 ERA. He received 44 first place votes out of a possible 56.
