Bolden Belts 5 Hits Thursday, March 28th , 2024 Ted Bolden exploded for a barrage of base hits at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Clemson first baseman had a field day against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, finishing with a 5-for-5 day, even as his club took the loss, 10-9. "It's a shame that we lost the game," he said. "It's really hard to enjoy what I did. You would think 5 hits would do it." Ted Bolden singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. For the season, Bolden has hit .500 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. He has played in 11 games and scored 8 times. |
