Mountaineers Hurler Named March's Top Starter Wednesday, April 1st , 2026 March's best hurler was Steve McKee of West Virginia. He overwhelmed SL2 hitters all month long and captured the Pitcher of the Month award as he collected a 4-0 record in 5 starts. The 19-year-old McKee added 27 strikeouts in 35.2 innings and 7 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.26 ERA. Other clubs hit .244 against him. |
