Teehan 6-for-6 Against Golden Gophers Sunday, March 26th , 2023 It was a good day for the Cavaliers at Siebert Field, U.S. Bank Stadium as they clipped the Minnesota Golden Gophers, 20-1. It was tremendous day for Justin Teehan, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 6-for-6. "I don't know what to call that," the Virginia second baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Justin Teehan doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Kyle Dickson in the 9th. Teehan has a .281 average and a .324 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 18 hits, 1 home run and driven in 9 runs. |
