Mountaineers Parker Gone for Year
Wednesday, March 30th , 2022
Doctors in West Virginia said Mike Parker might not play anymore this year. The Mountaineers starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the UCF Knights and will be out for at least 12 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

So far this season, Parker has logged a 0-2 record with a 6.48 ERA. He has started 5 games, hurled 16.2 innings and registered 4 strikeouts and 6 walks.
