Petrilli Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Friday, March 18th , 2022 Quinn Petrilli has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Northwestern second baseman picked up 2 more today against the Minnesota Golden Gophers and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Wildcats won the game, 12-3. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Quinn Petrilli hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Petrilli is batting .378 with 2 home runs. He has scored 8 runs and driven in 7. |
