Matt Jones Picked SL1's Best Player

Matt Jones took ABA College by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 20.
For his spectacular campaign, the Indiana Hoosiers star has been named the 2024 Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .362 batting average to go with a .429 on-base percentage. The native of Los Angeles, California also added 10 doubles, 1 triple, 15 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored.
He received 48 first place votes out of a possible 56. Jimmy Williams of the Nebraska Cornhuskers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Clark Ulery of the USC Trojans finished third with 3 first place votes.
