Lubas Captures SL2 Award for Best Manager Wednesday, June 10th , 2026 Gene Lubas skippered the West Virginia Mountaineers to a very successful year and has been acclaimed as the 2026 Conference 2 Manager of the Year. He kept it short and sweet in the press conference as he accepted the award. "Thanks, but it wasn't just me out there this season." The Mountaineers finished the regular season in second place in the Conference 2 Big 12 with a 32-18 record. |
