Michigan State Advances to Final 4 Tuesday, May 14th , 2024 It took a while, but the Michigan State Spartans finally disposed of the Purdue Boilermakers 7-3 in the series clincher at Drayton McLane Baseball Stadium at John H. Kobs Field. Winning the finale gave the Spartans the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Final 4. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Michigan State left fielder Alex Alvarez. He batted .500 in the series, collecting 4 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. The Michigan State Spartans will play against the Michigan Wolverines in the next round. Michigan won their series against the California Golden Bears 2 games to 1. The Final 4 schedule will be announced after the Elite 8 finishes. |
