SL1 Announces Outstanding Player Award
Saturday, June 10th , 2023
He may have less experience than most of his ABA College peers, but that didn't slow Aaron Jacobs down at all in 2023.

At the age of 20, the Wisconsin left fielder has been named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .404 batting average and a .515 on-base percentage this year. In 50 games he piled up 74 hits, 15 doubles, 2 triples, 11 home runs, 42 RBIs and 52 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 52 first place votes out of a possible 56. Danny Adams of the USC Trojans finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Kevin Mortensen of the Wisconsin Badgers finished third.
