Cornhuskers Cruise to Final 4 with Sweep Wednesday, May 14th , 2025 The Nebraska Cornhuskers had all facets of their game going and have swept the UCLA Bruins in the Elite 8. Nebraska now heads off to the Final 4, after wrapping up the series with a 5-3 win. Matt Preslar was named MVP, as he put up a .600 batting average, with a .714 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Nebraska Cornhuskers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Purdue Boilermakers - Virginia Cavaliers series. Virginia leads the series 1 game to 0. The Final 4 schedule will be announced after the Elite 8 finishes. |
