SL1 Announces Top Player Award
Thursday, June 10th , 2021
The manager of the Michigan State Spartans said he thinks Bill Kibler is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 18, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2021 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .350 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage this year. In 49 games he piled up 72 hits, 10 doubles, no triples, 12 home runs, 32 RBIs and 39 runs scored.

He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 56. Ben Everly of the North Carolina Tar Heels finished second in voting with 20 first place votes, while Jeff Yule of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets finished third with 3 first place votes.
