SL1 Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named
Sunday, June 6th , 2021
Dante Warren said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 18 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets rising star has won the Conference 1 Reliever of the Year Award for 2021.

He captured the award on the strength of his 1.26 ERA over 28.2 innings. He also had 1 save in 20 relief appearances, 25 strikeouts and only 11 walks.

He received 36 first place votes out of a possible 56. Mike Hamilton of the Penn State Nittany Lions finished second in voting with 19 first place votes, while Hector Berrios of the Purdue Boilermakers finished third.
