Sweepers Davis Smacks 5 Hits

It was a parade of hits for Ray Davis of the Nashua Sweepers at Aggies Ballpark.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Davis finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Sweepers to a win, 12-5.
"Davis was really good and we were really bad," groaned Aggies manager Jeremiah Simpson. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Ray Davis hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Adams in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Joe Turner in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
This season, Davis has banged out 21 hits in 41 at-bats for a .512 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .545 pace and his totals also include 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
