Loepp Booms 3 out of the Park Saturday, April 25th , 2026 Brian Loepp went yard three times in a Bangor Lumberjacks victory over the Kalamazoo Comets at Wizards Stadium. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Bangor second baseman went 3-for-5 against Kalamazoo with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Lumberjacks to the 9-2 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Brian Loepp hit a solo-shot off Mike Amos in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Mike Amos in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Harrison Tatta in the 6th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. In this current campaign Loepp is hitting at a .415 clip with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. |
