Creed Smacks 3 Out of the Park
Thursday, May 7th , 2020
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Jamie Creed did today at Miller Park, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 7-5.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Creed said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The White Deer Tropics designated hitter blistered the Louisville Sweepers for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Louisville manager Mike Barriga said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Jamie Creed hit a solo-shot off Abel Viar in the 2nd, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Cidro Alvares in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Nelson in the 8th.
In his stats this season, Creed has posted a batting average of .272 with 22 hits in 81 at-bats, 11 home runs and 19 RBIs. He has also scored 21 runs, walked 12 times and compiled a .394 OBP.
