Escobedo Gets N-A #1 Pitcher Trophy Saturday, May 1st , 2021 When Cesar Escobedo takes the hill, he usually takes command of the game -- at least that's the way it was in April. The outcome was usually a St. Catharines victory. His fine 5-0 performance earned him the Northern A Pitcher of the Month trophy. The talented Blue Jays hurler made 5 starts, worked 41.1 innings, permitted 26 base hits, and struck out 45 while putting up a 1.31 ERA. |
