Wieben on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, April 30th , 2019 Alan Wieben was at the front of a Partons hit parade today at Dolly Parton Ballpark. The right fielder finished 4-for-5 and hit for the cycle as Dollywood triumphed 12-2 over the Long Beach Keys. "Alan was putting on a real clinic out there," Dollywood manager Adam Freeman said following the game. Wieben finished the game with 5 runs batted in and had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. Alan Wieben hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. To date, Wieben has collected 8 hits for a .258 average. He has posted 2 home runs, scored 3 runs and driven in 8 runs. |
