The Tampa shortstop had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks, leading his club to victory, 8-5. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Fowler said later." Jay Fowler singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 8th. For the year, Fowler is batting .426 with 3 home runs.
