Lake Elsinore Hexed: No-Hit by Cortez Friday, April 9th , 2021 In a brilliant performance at Dolly Parton Ballpark, Dollywood pitcher Gilberto Cortez entered an elite group by tossing a no-hitter against the Lake Elsinore Storm. In the effort, he fanned 10 and walked 1, leading the Partons to victory, 8-0. "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball," Cortez said in the clubhouse after the game. "My guys made some nice plays behind me and cut off several hits, too."
