Omari Johnson Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, September 9th , 2025 When Omari Johnson was hurt against the Barrie Admirals, the Mexico City Aztecs were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old reliever suffered radial nerve compression throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Johnson would miss 8 months of the season. To date he has nailed down 5 saves for his club. In 34 relief appearances, Johnson has 40 strikeouts in 33.1 innings with a 2.97 ERA and a 3-0 mark. |
