Bad News for Fremont, Dave Benavides Hurt Saturday, September 6th , 2025 Dave Benavides will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Fremont left fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Benavides was injured while colliding with a player at a base in the Ambassadors-Trolls clash at Ballpark of Fremont recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This season, Benavides is hitting at a .287 pace with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and has scored 44 times. |
