St. Catharines Pilot Coss Acclaimed N-A Best Wednesday, October 18th , 2023 Club officials have reported seeing Freddy Coss at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned Coss the Northern A Manager of the Year Award for 2023. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Blue Jays to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in St. Catharines this season. Their beloved Blue Jays took first place in the Northern A West Division, rounding out the year with a 86-54 record. |
