Mahoney Grabs N-A Top Pitcher Trophy Monday, September 1st , 2025 It's a rarity when someone out of the pen gets recognition as the Northern A Pitcher of the Month, but that's exactly what happened today as St. Catharines reliever, Andy Mahoney, earned August's title. He tossed 12.2 innings, posting a 4-1 mark, 3.55 ERA, sitting down 11 on strikes and also nailing down 6 saves in his 12 relief appearances. This season, Mahoney has 10 saves. In 46 relief appearances he has tossed 54.2 innings, struck out 52 and issued 23 walks with a 5-3 record. The St. Catharines reliever has recorded a 3.13 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .263 when he is in the game. |
