Ian Schelling discovered that today at Ballpark of Austin, as he smashed three home runs during the 7-4 Huntsville Rockets win over the Newark Flyers. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Huntsville left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Schelling finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 5 RBIs.
