Bangor Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 Fans of the Bangor Lumberjacks who thought the club was playoff-bound may have been a little too optimistic this year. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Bangor last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 7 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lumberjacks have made the playoffs 8 times. Bangor last won the World Series in 2011. |
