Dowdell Misbehaves, Suspended 4 Games Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 For his part in an altercation with an umpire over a third strike, Fremont Ambassadors second baseman Ryan Dowdell will have to sit out 4 games. The league commissioner's office today notified the Ambassadors that Dowdell had been suspended for his poor conduct during the Deltas game yesterday at Rogers Centre. After being ejected, Dowdell turned and walked toward the dugout, but then turned around, began yelling at the umpire and kicked dirt on home plate. The league said this type of behavior is not acceptable and will be dealt with according to league disciplinary policies. |
