Tampa Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 22nd , 2025 The Tampa Capitals have spent much of the season on the outside looking in at the playoff race. They will be permanently on the outside now, after being officially eliminated from contention today. Tampa last appeared in the postseason in 2015. This is their 10th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 21-year history. |
